Orji Uzor Kalu has said that he will withdraw from the presidential race of the 10th National Assembly if the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu asks him to
Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senate's chief whip, has declared that if Bola Tinubu requests it, he will drop out of the 10th National Assembly's presidential election.
After meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss his desire to serve as Senate President, Kalu reportedly made this statement to reporters at the State House.
The former governor of Abia State insisted that he would continue to be hopeful even though he had not received any assurances from anyone and that he will be the South-East Senate President. Even though he has stated that it is his turn, he emphasized that he can be stopped by those in the big league.
