What A Staff Who Stole From Me Did After I Fired Him – Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie, a well-known Nollywood actor, told a tragic story with a staff member he considered a brother.

The actor bemoaned the fact that the personnel in question stole from him on his own Facebook page.

He added that despite his kindness to the employees, he continued to steal some of his money.

He made a notation stating he had to relieve the man of his responsibilities, but he never demanded payment for the money.

Despite the thoughtful gift, the man called him a few months later and pleaded for money.

The actor said that while he was first furious by the request, he finally decided to send the money after considerable thought.

Using this medium, Yul Edochie urged his followers to develop their capacity for forgiveness.

In addition to compensating him for his services, he said that he treated one of his employees like a brother and occasionally gave him money.

"One day I discovered he was robbing me and had already taken so much money. (In this hard economy). I let him go.

"He didn't have the money to make restitution, so I just advised him to leave; don't make restitution, just leave so you won't steal again. Later, he called to plead for pardon.

"I pardoned him, but I warned him to keep his distance from me.

A few months later, he called me and begged for money. As a human, my immediate reaction was, "What nerve, he still has the audacity to beg for money, what an ingrate."

"I wanted to lash out at him in rage. But later, when I was alone, I found myself thinking. Every day, we offend against God, seek his pardon, and continue to pray for his benefits. If you are unable to assist him, what good is forgiveness?

You will offend some individuals while you are living on earth, and you will also offend some people. We must be willing to forgive and bless those who have wronged us as we seek God for forgiveness and blessings. That is the real message that Jesus Christ preached.

These ideas kept coming to mind. Thus, I gave him money. Life is brief. None of us will be here permanently.
