Nigerian DJ Switch, also known as Obianuju Catherine Udeh, has sent a thank-you letter to the country's young for altering the political narrative.
Remember that on October 20, 2020, during the statewide EndSARS protest, DJ Switch, who had been living in exile, went viral after she live-streamed Nigerian Army soldiers killing demonstrators at the Lekki tollgate.
DJ Switch, who stated that she has always thought that change will come to Nigeria, reacted to how the youth have somewhat altered the narrative in that country's politics by saying that there is still a long way to go, but her faith is rekindled.
DJ Switch said in a painful comment that she won't see the shift coming but that she is most appreciative that the young people realized her aspirations.
I wish to applaud our vivacious youths," she tweeted. I've always thought that Nigeria will experience change, but I would always add, "I know I won't witness it." But thanks to you, my wish has come true... Although there is still a long way to go, my faith has been strengthened. Thanks a lot!
In a another tweet, DJ Switch made fun of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent governor of Lagos State, who is running for reelection.
In order to persuade the people of Lagos to vote him in again on March 11th, the governor has used a variety of outdoor advertising, including visits to churches and hair salons.
"I hear claim Sanwo Olu don turn usher for church Miracle no dey taya who?" DJ Switch stated in a tweet.
