A lady killed her friend in her apartment

Anita Ofili, a lady, revealed that she waited ten years to exact vengeance after being arrested for k!lling her friend Glory Okon in her apartment in Lagos' Greenville Estate.

Anita allegedly claimed that she committed the deed because the deceased abducted her boyfriend about ten years ago, according to Vanguard. On Sunday, March 26, at 1:20 p.m., Ofili's one-room self-contained apartment shouted for assistance, waking up the occupants of the building. They allegedly forced the door open to find Ofili shoving Okon's throat with a kitchen knife.

Sadly, the victim was declared dead after losing so much blood after being taken in an ambulance to the General Hospital on Lagos Island.

Under the condition of anonymity, one of the building's residents said;

"The person who heard the shriek was the landlord's daughter. She looked out the window and observed a man in a disguise stabbing a woman. She quickly dialed her father's number, who informed other residents, who then pried open the door to find Anita Ofili behind the mask. There was bl00d permeating the entire space. When we checked the subject, we could still hear breathing. Ofili's hands and legs had to be tied in order to keep her from running away. Before the Police arrived, Ofili didn't exhibit any signs of regret. She promised to tell the police what occurred. She stated that the woman in issue was a friend and that what she did was retaliation for what her friend had done to her.

It was learned that the suspect and the deceased attended the same tertiary school and had been friends for almost 20 years. Before they reunited two weeks ago, it was claimed that they had a disagreement that caused them to be estranged for almost ten years.

Ofili gave an explanation for her actions and said;

Glory and I had been close friends for a long time, but she cheated on us by stealing my partner.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police command, confirmed the occurrence and stated;

"On March 26, at 5:50 p.m., a tenant of Greenville Estate went to the station to report that he had heard screaming coming from a single room.
