Court Remands Influencer Blessing CEO For Cyber-bullying

 


Blessing Okoro, a well-known self-described relationship specialist also known as Blessing CEO, has been remanded by the Lagos State Federal High Court for alleged cyberbullying.


Blessing CEO was arraigned on six counts of claimed cyberbullying, libel, and showing uncensored films, according to the Daily Post on Friday.


Additionally, the self-described relationship expert was charged with damaging the image of one Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule through the use of her Instagram page #officialblessingceo.


Blessing CEO was kept in the care of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) until May 30 in order for her parole application to be heard by Justice Yelim Bogoro, who presided over the court session on Friday, March 31.


According to reports, Blessing CEO was detained on Thursday morning due to her involvement in the case involving celebrity car dealer IVD and his late wife Bimbo Ogbonna.


Blessing was not detained by the Lagos police but by the Force CID in Abuja, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, who verified this to The PUNCH.
