Popular Ghanaian socialite, Shugatiti has filed a lawsuit against Reverend Frank Gogo and two other people over alleged defamation.

Popular Ghanaian socialite Shugatiti has launched a lawsuit for alleged defamation against Reverend Frank Gogo and two other individuals.

The socialite, according to the preacher, is a "mamiwata" (mermaid) sent to exterminate males. Reverend Gogo asserted during an appearance on a TV program that Shugatiti, a restaurant owner, uses alien powers to entice customers to buy her food.

In an interview with Oman Channel, he stated:

"She is controlled by a marine spirit, and everybody who enters her restaurant will get controlled as well. In the spiritual realms, she reigns as queen. Every woman who has eaten at her restaurant has been possessed.

"She was dispatched to destroy by the devil. She doesn't even need to speak to you or have an experience with you in order to seduce women who come to her restaurant.Everyone who goes to her restaurant should use extreme caution.

Shugatiti, who has now sued the priest, said she is ready to go to court with the man of God if he can prove his claims. She stated:

"Members of Frank Gogo (Ekatso) Church advise your pastor to meet me in court to prove that I'm a sea demon with evidence of entering the sea," the message reads.

Gogo said in the court filing that the plaintiff was a "demon-possessed person of questionable character and means and, as such, it is dangerous for ordinary right-thinking members of society to be associated, acquainted, or have any contact whatsoever with the dentist."

Through her attorney, Shugatiti is requesting that the court rule that the comments said by the defendants on Oman Channel, which were published on April 16 on OMAN Channel and are available on YouTube, are defamatory. Additionally, "general damages for defamation of character" are what she is requesting.
